character: xeno_(dr.stone), stanley_snyder_(dr.stone), copyright: dr._stone 2boys, male focus, stanley snyder, xeno, blonde hair, short sleek straight hair, smooth flat-lying hair strands, yellow eyes, purple lips, handsome, mature male, white hair, short spiked hair, black eyes, x-shaped mark on forehead, forehead mark, black gloves, white gloves, jacket, long sleeves, buttons, boots, knee pads, pouch, collared shirt, yaoi, bl, close embrace, standing close together, from side, profile, cowboy shot, dutch angle, looking at another, half-closed eyes, light smile, parted lips, mouth slightly open, closed mouth, no bags under eyes, clear under-eye area, bare lips, no lipstick, indoor, dim room, single lamp light, warm amber light, cool blue shadow, intimate, tender The shot is a tight side-on two-shot in profile, camera set below chest height and tilted a few degrees off level, so both men are seen from the side against a dark interior: Stanley on the left of the frame, Xeno on the right, their bodies turned toward each other so that the space between their chests closes to a hand's width. Stanley — the taller silhouette — has short, sleek, perfectly straight yellow hair that falls flat and glassy to the nape, one blunt strand slipping forward across his temple as he leans; his yellow eyes are half-lidded, fixed down and across at Xeno's mouth, and his lips are a deep saturated purple that reads as the one strong colour in the frame. He is dressed in his field jacket, long sleeves buttoned at the cuff, white gloves on both hands, one gloved palm pressed flat against the wall behind Xeno's shoulder, the other gloved hand lifted to Xeno's jaw, thumb resting along the cheekbone just under the eye, fingertips barely touching the hinge of the jaw — his weight is on his back foot and his front shoulder drops into the lean, the jacket bunching at that shoulder. Xeno is shorter, his short white hair spiked and pushed back, a hard-edged X-shaped mark drawn across the centre of his forehead clearly visible in profile, his eyes solid black with a still, level stare turned up at Stanley's face, the under-eye skin clean and smooth with no bags or shadows; his lips are pale and bare of any colour, and they are slightly parted — a visible dark sliver of open mouth between them, upper and lower lip not meeting — as though he has been interrupted mid-sentence. He wears his collared shirt buttoned to the collar under a long-sleeved jacket, and his hands are not idle: one grips the lapel of Stanley's jacket at the chest, knuckles pulled white through the fabric, the other hangs at his side with the fingers curled loose. Neither man's lips touch the other's. A single lamp sits off-frame to the left at shoulder height: it strikes the yellow hair into a hard highlight, throws warm amber along Stanley's jaw and purple lips, and leaves Xeno's face lit only along its profile edge, cool blue shadow filling the rest of the room and eating the far wall entirely, so the darkness past them is absolute. The lamp's light doubles in the faint sheen of Stanley's straight hair and in the wet line of Xeno's parted lips. Palette is restricted to amber, deep purple and cool blue-black against the yellow of the hair. Intimate, quietly charged.
