character: soma_natsumi, copyright: idolmaster, idolmaster_cinderella_girls from directly below, worm's-eye view, extreme low angle, looking up, 1girl, looming over viewer, leaning forward over viewer, both hands planted on floor, arms straight and braced, kimono, loosely worn kimono at chest, chest gap in collar, long black-brown hair, hair falling straight down past her face, green eyes, scrunchie, traditional japanese house ceiling, dark wooden beams, exposed rafters, shoji ceiling panels, only the girl in frame, no second body, no visible viewer hands, solo, staring down, half-lidded eyes, parted lips, faint lopsided smile, dutch angle tilt The camera sits flat on the tatami directly below her and looks straight up: her face occupies the upper center of the frame, seen from beneath the chin so the jawline and the underside of her nose catch the light, her eyes angled down at the lens with the lids half lowered and her lips parted on a breath. Her hair, long and black-brown, hangs free of gravity and drops in straight separate strands toward the viewer, splaying outward and partially crossing the ceiling behind her; a fabric scrunchie gathers a small tail of it at her nape. Her torso is pitched forward over the camera, and the kimono hangs off that lean: the collar edges have fallen open into a shallow V at her chest, the crossed lapels slipping wide and the fabric standing away from her collarbones in a soft gap, the obi cinching everything below so the looseness reads only at the chest. Both her arms come down past the frame's edges and her palms press flat onto the floorboards beside and slightly behind the viewer's head, elbows locked, shoulders drawn up around her ears with the weight of the lean; the sleeve cuffs bunch and pool at the floor at the frame's lower corners. Her hips are shifted back over her heels, one knee forward of the other, so she is not centered but tipped slightly diagonal across the frame. Behind and beyond her, the ceiling of a traditional Japanese house fills the whole background: dark exposed rafters and crossbeams running in parallel lines toward the vanishing point, pale shoji panels between them, the planks close and large near her head and narrowing with perspective. A single warm interior light comes from low and off to the left, out of frame, raking up the ceiling beams and lighting the left side of her throat and cheek while the right side of her face and the underside of her chin fall into soft shadow; her hanging hair casts thin wavering shadows across the shoji behind her. Palette is warm amber, dark cedar brown, cream paper and the muted indigo-and-grey of the kimono, nothing brighter. Only her; the floor she braces on is bare boards at the frame's very edge. Intimate, quietly overwhelming.
