character: soma_natsumi, copyright: idolmaster, idolmaster_cinderella_girls 1girl, solo, soma natsumi, long hair, brown hair, green eyes, hair bun, loose hair strands, kimono, japanese clothes, loose collar, collarbone, open clothes at chest, leaning forward, leaning over viewer, crawling, on all fours, hands planted on floor, arms straight, from below, pov from below, extreme foreshortening, looking down, looking at viewer, head tilt, half-closed eyes, light smile, ceiling, wooden ceiling, traditional japanese house interior, wooden beams, warm lamplight, night, no viewer visible, A single girl seen from directly below, the camera lying flat on the tatami floor beneath her, so the frame holds only her body and the ceiling of the house behind her — no part of the person below her enters the picture at any edge. She is caught mid-crawl: both palms planted flat on the floorboards to either side of the lens, elbows slightly bent and taking her weight, forearms foreshortened so the hands read huge and near at the bottom corners while her shoulders rise away into the depth. Her knees and hips are somewhere above and behind the frame line, only the suggestion of her weight transferring forward visible in the dip of her spine. She wears a kimono in muted indigo with a small faded pattern, and the collar has slipped loose at the chest, the front panels falling open just off the sternum so the collarbones and the hollow of the throat show above the fabric's edge, the obi holding the lower half closed. Her long brown hair falls forward off her shoulders toward the lens, strands hanging free and swinging with the tilt of her head, the rest gathered back. Her head is tipped down toward the viewer, green eyes looking directly into the lens from under a fall of hair, lids half lowered, one corner of her mouth lifted in a light, knowing smile, a faint blush across the cheeks. Behind and above her the ceiling of a traditional Japanese house fills the background: dark wooden beams crossing pale plaster panels, a low paper-shaded lamp set into the ceiling structure, its warm orange glow catching the underside of the beams and spilling a soft rim along her hair and shoulders while leaving the corners of the ceiling in shadow; the light closest to her face is dimmer and cooler, falling from the room below. Her hair and the loose kimono edge both hang toward the camera, pulled by gravity, and the long sleeves bunch and crease where her forearms brace. Palette of indigo, warm amber lamplight, dark timber brown and the pale plaster cream of the ceiling, skin warm and softly lit. Quiet, intimate, slightly playful.
